Your 2018 Ford Fusion is a Sedan model which I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C12091.
This hitch has a 1-1/4" receiver tube openings with a 350lb tongue weight rating and a 3500lb trailer weight rating. The hitch pin hole is a 1/2" in diameter and does not come with pin and clips. Most bike racks come with pin and clips or anti rattle devices however; if you were planning on pulling trailer you would need Curt Class I and II Pin and Clip Item # F-4.
If your vehicle was a sport model it would have an emblem on the back passenger side that would say sport. It would also have double tip duel exhaust.
