Will the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater Give Bursts of Hot and Cold Water While Showering
Updated 02/11/2021 | Published 02/07/2021 >
Question:
I have a Girard tankless water heater in my camper/van. I am looking at changing out to the Furion. The Girard gives bursts of cold/hot water. I see the Furion has a vortex mixer to avoid this. My question is how effective is this? Does it really remove hot/cold burst of water during showering? Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater part # FR98SR does indeed have a feature known as the vortex system which mixes hot and cold water to eliminate fluctuations and reduce the risk of hot water scalding. It's similar to the tub/shower in your home in regards to mixing the hot and cold water to get the perfect medium. It does not look like we have heard of any complaints about the functioning of this system in particular.
I have attached a review for you below.
