Fit of Küat PVP20B Pivot 2 Swinging Extender on 2020 Mercedes-Benz SL

Question:

Can I use a Kuat Pivot 2 that swings to the passenger side on my Mercedes Sprinter 2020 4x4 with factory receiver and factory built in step. Keep in mind the factory step is approximately 15 inches wide and about 7 inches deep and is on the passenger side of the receiver. My Rak Attach will not fit because the step prevents me from ing the tongue all the way into the receiver. Thanks

What you'll need to do is measure how far the hitch pin hole in your hitch receiver is recessed toward the front of the vehicle when compared to the furthest rearward obstruction whether it be the face of the bumper or the hitch step, if it extends further rearward than the face of the bumper.

The shank of the Küat # PVP20B Pivot 2 measures 5-3/16 inches long, measured from the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the Pivot 2 extender. So, to see if it will work with your factory step, find the hitch pin hole in your receiver, and measure 5-3/16 inches rearward. If that point clears the factory step, the Küat Pivot 2 will work perfectly for you.
