I was just wondering if I cut the rails that the toolbox and uprights and over cab rack slide on can be rejoined with a coupling type , are those parts even available or made? . Incase I get an 8’ bed again

It sounds like you are talking about shortening the Base Rails of a Thule TracRac SR Sliding Truck Bed Ladder Rack like the # TH43002XT-501.

Instead of cutting your current base rails you can purchase replacement Base Rails like the # TH21782 which will allow you to use your ladder rack on a different vehicle.

Since the Base Rails are vehicle specific, if you can let me know the Year/Make/Model you are wanting to install your ladder rack on I would be happy to recommend the correct base rails for you.
