Can Blue Ox Swaypro Weight Distribution BXW2000 be Used with Palomino Puma 31THSS

Question:

I am interested in the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - Clamp On - 20,000 lbs GTW, 2,000 lbs TW. However, my trailers GVWR is 11,200 lbs with a hitch weight of 1525 lbs. Is this hitch over sprung for my requirements? If so are there lower rated bars for this? Trailer is a Palomino Puma Toy Hauler 31THSS 38 ft Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you

The Blue Ox Swaypro part # BXW2000 has a tongue weight range of 1,500-2,000 lbs which would work with the tongue weight you listed of 1,525 lbs.

Keep in mind that any cargo weight behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle counts as additional tongue weight so when you are loaded you might be further into the tongue weight range of this system.
