Is the door paintable or come in stainless?

I may have a solution for you, but we don't have any hot water heaters that have a stainless steel door. However, I don't see any reason that you couldn't paint the door of the Furrion # FR98SR as long as you sanded it down to get the paint off of it and made sure not to seal up the vents.

With that said, if you're looking for a black water heater you could potentially use the Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 41,800 Btu - Black # LSB44FR, which is a great alternative. This heater produces up to 90 gallons of hot water flow per hour, so it's extremely efficient. It does require adding the # CAM10423 temperature and pressure relief valve be added to your system.
