Weight Distribution for Towing Apex Nano 208BHS

Question:
We are looking for a WDH to pair an Apex Nano 208BHS with a 2021 Dodge Durango V8. We estimate that our tongue weight loaded will be between 700-750 pounds based on feedback from others, plus the weight of the WDH itself. Weve been looking at the Equalizer rated for 10k, but are curious as to the weight. If I read correctly, the total weight of everything, but do you know the weight minus the bars and brackets on the trailer? Were kind of concerned about lifting up the piece to put it on the car single-handed. And when we are fully loaded, we are close to max payload weight. Would you have any different recommendations that are lighter for a trailer in that tongue weight range? Thanks!

What's interesting about weight distribution systems is that their weight does not get factored into the tongue weight when picking out the system. We've asked our weight distribution manufacturers this question several times and basically the thinking is that the system essentially becomes part of the hitch so it would not need to be counted.
The Pro Series part # PS49902 that you referenced would a great option that includes friction sway control. If you wanted an option with a proactive sway control that works to fight sway before it starts and also has better ground clearance the Strait Line part # RP66084 would be the way to go.
