I confirmed with Demco that Replacement Head # DM6169 is indeed the correct replacement for your Demco Recon 5th Wheel Hitch # DM8550045. This replacement head is made in the USA and is coated in a strong rust-resistant powder coat paint. I have included demonstration videos for these products to further explain the uses and features.
