The Curt # C15845 you'd looked at is a fit for the F-Series cab and chassis trucks, and therefore wouldn't be compatible with your E350 Van.
I'll typically recommend the hitch with the highest available capacity, so you'll have the flexibility to tow larger trailers if needed.
The highest capacity hitch we offer for your van is the Draw-Tite # 41945 which offers a 10,000 lb towing/1500 lb tongue weight capacity. If used with weight distribution, the capacity rises to 12,000 lbs towing/1500 lbs tongue weight. This hitch will also fit cutaway van chassis vehicles if the mounting bolt holes are 38-5/8 inches apart on center.
If you don't need all that capacity, you can go with a lower rated hitch like the Curt # 13055 which is rated for 6000 lbs towing/600 lbs tongue weight or 8000 lbs towing/800 lbs of tongue weight if a weight distribution system is used.
