what are my choices for brake controllers for a 2020 Honda passport, looking for plug and play ease of installation

If you already have a 7-pin connector on the back of your Passport then, by far, the easist solution is the Curt # C51180 Echo Wireless Brake Controller. Simply plug one side into your tow vehicle 7-pin connector and plug your trailer into the other end.

If you do not have a 7-pin connector you will have to start by installing the Tekonsha # 118291 wiring harness. This will easily install and provide the connections you need for trailer lighting and brakes. Fortunately the Honda has all the connections you will need at the back of the vehicle.
