Recommended Easy to Remove Rack for Carrying Kayaks on 2019 Nissan Frontier w/ Utili-Trac System

Question:

Hi, I am looking for a rack system to carry kayaks with my 2019 Nissan Frontier, short bed. I have Utili-Trac system and would like it to Work with it so I can easily remove them. I have been searching the web. I find pictures of exactly what I am looking for but can’t find where to buy them. Do you carry them, or know where I can find them? Thank you for your help with this.

Yakima offers an awesome truck bed rack system that includes quick-change adapters that work with the utili-trac system in your truck bed, with no drilling necessary. The racks attach directly to the adapters which would typically remain in place on the truck, which make subsequent install and removal of the racks very quick and easy so you don't need to drive around all the time with the racks in place..

Because you have a short bed and are carrying kayaks that are likely longer than the truck bed, I'd recommend the Yakima OverHaul HD rack you looked at, part # Y01151-5868. The top of the rack crossbars can be adjusted so they sit slightly above roof level, allowing your kayaks to fit perfectly without hanging too far out the back of the truck.

The 3 inch wide by 1-1/2 inch thick crossbars are compatible with most kayak carriers. I really like the Yakima JayLow, part # Y04073 which can carry 1 kayak or 2 kayaks with the addition of tie downs like part # Y04031 and # Y05006.
