Determining Correct Rhino-Rack Fit Kit For 2015 Mazda 3

Question:

I was interested in purchasing a roof rack for my 2015 Mazda 3 Hatchback. My rain gutter rails do not have the caps to remove to install the rack to access the screw threads. Do you know where I can get new ones that have the pre cut areas for the rack mounting screws? I would like to make sure I have that before I make the purchase of the Rhino Rack I was looking at. Thanks!

To install the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System for fixed mounting points you will first need to verify that your vehicle has fixed mounting points, and you or the installer of your choice will need to drill the holes in the rain gutter trim to access the fixed mounting points of your 2015 Mazda 3.

I attached a picture from the instruction manual for the Rhino-Rack Fit Kit # DK410 that is confirmed to fit the 5-door Model that has fixed mounting points, which goes over how to add a hole to access the fixed mounting point.

The Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System for your Mazda 3 uses the 49" Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2, Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVA, and Fit Kit # DK410 as long as you have fixed mounting points.

If you do not have fixed mounting points you will need the Yakima Roof Rack System which uses the 60" Yakima JetStream Crossbars - Aluminum # Y00426, BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars - Naked Roofs # Y28TR, and Fit Kits # Y06130 and # Y06132 instead
