Hi I need a bike rack for 2012 Toyota rav4 prime XSE. I understand that no hitch racks work with hatch kick bar. Which high quality hatch racks will work 2 bikes. I’m told the saris bones will not, but don’t know why. Thanks

The Saris Bones is not a confirmed fit on vehicles with a short mounting point on the trunk or bumper. The feet need a substantial surface to mount safely and securely when traveling down the road. As you can see the Yakima FullBack offers a full support bar on the base to allow full contact with the bumper contact point.
