I spoke with the manufacturer and can confirm that the weight of Rapid Hitch Adjustable Aluminum Ball Mount # AM3411 is 17 lbs.
This hitch is lightweight, yet very strong.
It has a towing capacity of 7,500 lbs with 1-7/8" hitch ball, and 8,000 lbs with 2" hitch ball
The maximum rise is 6-1/2", and the maximum drop is 5-1/2".
