Question:
What is covered on the warranty for the rvr5? How is warranty and eventually maintenance issues handled? I have a towable cherry picker that weighs 2860 lbs with 150 lbs of tongue weight. Is the rvr5 the correct unit for my device to move around my yard?

The warranty for the Trailer Valet RVR5, part # TVRVR5, includes a 1-year limited warranty. It covers any manufacturer defects with material or assembly. Wear and tear, damage from use, or damage from improper maintenance/repair are not covered. I've taken these from the installation details that I've linked to below. In it, Trailer Valet lists how to contact them to make warranty claims.
For your particular trailer, I recommend the RVR3, part # TVRVR3. This is a step below the RVR5 in terms of how much weight it can handle (3500 pounds), but that is more than enough for you. The RVR3 is less costly because of that lower capacity, which is why I'm recommending this one for you.
I've linked to a video demonstration of the RVR3 for you to look at.
