I have a 2020 Ram 2500 6 1/2 box. Will a curt a20 work in my truck for 2953 Astoria. Fixed or slide?

A Curt A20 5th wheel hitch would be a great choice. I really like the interlocking jaw system the hitch uses that provides full contact with the 5th wheel's king pin which makes for a smoother, more comfortable ride with less clattering and banging.
For a short bed truck like your 2020 Ram 2500, you'll want to use the sliding version of the Curt A20, so you'll have proper clearance between the front of the 5th wheel and the back of the truck cab during turns.
If your truck has the Tow/Prep package with the pucks in the truck bed, you'd want to use # C16541 A20 hitch along with the # C16022 adapter rails.
If your truck doesn't have the Tow/Prep package, you'd use the # C55DR A20 along with the # C16427-204 rail/bracket kit.
If you wanted to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed, you could do so using part # C56000.
