Question:

2020 Ford ranger STX Is there a plug under the dash that I can install a trailer brake controller for towing a trailer on this truck I already have the towing hitch a 7 way connector for the trailer that was on the truck what cable can I use? Thank you.

Since your 2020 Ford Ranger SXT came with a factory installed 7-way trailer connector, you should have a brake controller connector under the dash. That being said, the connector that would most likely fit # 3034-P, has not been confirmed as a fit for the 2020 Ranger as of today (April 2020). I have attached a photo of what this connector looks like, so if you can confirm the one under your dash, behind the brake pedal, matches up with the one in the photo, then the # 3034-P should work to install a Tekonsha brake controller, like the and easy to use and reliable Prodigy P2 # 90885.

The other option is to use a wireless brake controller, like the Curt Echo # C51180. Just plug it into your 7-way (no wires to run, no tools need), and it will communicate wirelessly (via Bluetooth) with your smartphone so you can make on-the-fly adjustments and monitor all your braking activity.
