Question:

Hello. Im interested in purchasing K2 Storm II Snowplow - 84 Wide x 22 Tall with the universal front receiver mount. I want to install on my 1995 Jeep YJ. The front receivers mount on top of the frame, Which would result in the receiver being about 23 inches off the ground. Will that be too high for this plow? Thanks.

The Storm II plow you'd looked at, part # K2STOR8422 doesn't mount using a hitch, it mounts directly to the frame of the vehicle using the # K284115 (sold separately) bracket kit, so you wouldn't need a front hitch.

Actually, this would be a better alternative for you than the hitch mounted plow, as the 23 inch height of the # 31408 receiver would indeed be too tall, as K2 recommends a maximum hitch height of 20 inches. If you tried to go with a hitch mounted plow, your blade would sit about 2 inches above the pavement when fully lowered, which wouldn't work very well.
