Total Weight of the BAKFlip F1 and MX4 Tonneau Covers

Question:

I am looking at the Bakflip F1 or the MX4. I have a short bed 2020 Ford F150 and cant find the total eight of each of these options. Can you please send me the item weights?

I called BAK industries to see if they had weight specifications for their tonneau covers. Unfortunately, they do not record these, but there is something that I can offer that might help.

The BAKFlip F1, part # BAK72329, and the MX4, part # BAK48329, for your 2020 Ford F-150 short bed both list their shipping weights as 71 pounds.

So, accounting for packing material, boxes, etc., both of these tonneau covers should weigh around 64 - 68 pounds. I know this isn't exact, but hopefully it will give you an idea of what you will be working with.

I've linked to video reviews of both of these so you can continue your comparison. Personally, I recommend going with the MX4 because that matte black finish is absolutely gorgeous and gives your truck a very stylish look.
