Question:
I have a reese gooseneck ball that went with a factory hitch platform in a 2011 f250. Will that ball work in the factory gooseneck platform in my 2021 gmc 2500hd?

The Reese gooseneck ball you currently have for your 2011 F-250 will not fit your 2021 GMC Sierra 250 as that is hitch ball from Reese is specifically for the Ford Elite Series models of OEM gooseneck (which is not on the Sierra), but we do have the correct part for you.
What you need is the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit # C60692 which is the economical option, or the higher-quality and easier-to-use (but premium) B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061.
Either of these will work, though the B&W has the advantage because it is stainless steel so it won't rust compared to the Curt's chrome plated ball, which will, as well as it's simple handle that allows for installation and removal of the ball in your truck, while the Curt has a tab on top of the ball to install it. I have added links below to video reviews of both options for you to check out.
