What is the MasterLock King Pin Lock Made From and How Much Does It Weigh
Updated 12/26/2020 | Published 12/23/2020 >
Question:
What is the weight of this lock? Any problems with this lock fitting a king pin that has a lube plate? One review states this lock is made of steel. The description in your ad says aluminum. Which is it?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The MasterLock # ML387 is made from high grade aluminum and weighs roughly 7-lbs. You won't have any issues fitting this lock over a king pin with a lube plate either, since it does leave some room at the top and doesn't sit flush against the pin box. I've attached one of our customer photos that shows this installed.
