Expert Reply:
RoadActive # RAS4611 Active Suspension (2000 pounds) Standard Duty is a confirmed fit in my Fit Guide for a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 with rear leaf springs. We do not have the same RoadActive Suspension kit for your Suburban rated for (3000 pounds) heavy duty service.
In fact, RoadActive Fit Guide shows that leaf springs ended in 1999. You should visually double-check your rear suspension before ordering anything.
Keep in mind that suspension upgrades improve ride and handling but do not increase load capacities.
