Can the Go Power Automatic Transfer Switch be Used on a Boat

Question:
I have a 1990 35 foot Niagara sailboat. The marina where I dock my boat displays a ground fault at the main marina power supply. This happens when I hook up to shore power and turn on the power at the boats electrical panel. I have narrowed the possible electrical leak to my GP-TS transfer switch. The switch makes a mild hum and is activated with wire coil. Wire coils can be subject under load. I did not detect an issue with continuity. Being 30 years old should I replace it with a go power automatic transfer switch?

I spoke with Go Power to see if this can work for you.
They have not dealt with the Automatic Transfer Switch, part # 34264403, being installed on boats. They said that as long as it's in a dry area, it should be fine. The inverter also needs a bonded neutral.
I've linked to a video review of this switch for you to look at.
