How Tall Are the Timbren Springs for a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500

Question:

Looking at P/N TGMRCK25D Timbren rubber springs for my 2018 GMC 2500 HD. Could you provide the free length of the rubber springs ? I want to ensure they will sit ~ 1 inch off my axle. A video I watched of someone adding them to a truck like mine showed them touching the axle with no load.

The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRCK25D which is a fit for a 2018 GMC Sierra 2500 will measure 5-1/4" tall without the 1" spacer or 6-1/4" tall with the 1" spacer. I have attached a photo below. The springs should not be engaged without a load, if the suspension was worn or there was weight in the bed that could then cause them to be engaged but that's about the only thing that would cause this. The vast majority of installs will not produce the engaged unloaded results you spoke of. They should sit 1" - 1-1/2" off the axle unloaded.
