Compatibility of Front Hitch Mounted Snow Plow and Base Plates for 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

Hello we have a 2021 jeep wrangler unlimited with the JL body style. I am looking to use a home plow with this jeep and I also want to be able tow behind my motorhome. So I will need a 2 receiver to mount on the front of Jeep for my Plow. Question is there something I can mount to the receiver that i can attach a base plate for 4 down towing? or is there a configuration that would allow me to mount both 4 down towing base plate and a receiver?

For your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, there is not yet a confirmed fit front mounted hitch receiver for you to utilize with a plow from any of our manufacturers. Even if there was, that wouldn't allow you to flat tow 4 down with and you would need to utilize another connection point. Because the baseplates will use the same mounting points to the frame as a hitch (which I'm confident will come available soon), you will need another attachment point. The most common option for you to have both and the route I would go is to use an aftermarket front bumper with D-ring connection rated for flat towing. We have adapters that connect the tow bar right to those D-ring mounts like the Adapter for Jeep D-Ring Bumper Mounts to Roadmaster Motor Home Mount Tow Bars - 1" Thick # RM-035-1 for example.
