Your 2021 Chevrolet owners manual, starting at about page 300, states that the 2 wheel drive Colorado cannot be flat towed or dolly towed without risk of damaging drive train components. Any damage would not be covered by the warranty.
The next step would be to contact your Chevrolet dealership and see if there is any drive train modification that can be done to allow flat towing. If they give you a solution then you will need the following parts.
First you will need base plates for the Colorado. I recommend the Roadmaster # RM37VR base plate kit with removable arms. (None of our base plate kits work with diesel engines, Trail Boss models or ZR2 Bison models.) This kit fits your truck and provides the connection point for a tow bar.
Next you need a tow bar setup that connects your truck to your RV. I can use the Roadmaster #RM-520 that is rated for 6000 pounds towing capacity. However for a little more cost I recommend that you upgrade to the Roadmaster # RM-522 All Terrain / Non-Binding tow bar. This tow bar easily connects even on uneven terrain, or if you are not exactly straight behind the RV.
You will also need the Roadmaster # RM-9243-1 Combo Towing Kit that includes wiring for clearance and signal lights, Power cord connecting truck and RV, Safety cables, locks, and more.
Finally you will need a supplimental braking system. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
Most likely you will also need a high low adapter so that the tow bar will be level when you are flat towing. I attached a link to a page that has all of the ones we carry.
Below I have supplied links to all of these products, some demonstration video, and some helpful articles.
