Dose this suspension give better or more travel

I may have a solution for you, but I'm not sure the Timbren Silent Ride Suspension # TSR3500S06 is exactly what you're looking for. The Timbren Silent Ride does not necessarily allow for more travel than your current leaf spring suspension system, but instead is designed to provide a softer ride that will enhance stability. Leaf spring suspension systems don't typically allow for a lot of articulation in the way that a vehicle's coil and shock absorber system would.
If you're concerned with clearance and have a trailer that will be taken off road, a better solution might be something like the Timbren Heavy-Duty Axle-Less Trailer Suspension - 4" Lift Spindle - Regular Tires - 3,500 lbs # ASR35HDS05. The Timbren Axle-Less system is designed to replace your axle to provide greater ground clearance with an independent suspension system; these are extremely popular for people building their own off road trailers and those just looking for a way to get better ground clearance on their existing trailers. This type of system would provide more suspension travel than a standard leaf spring axle.
If you wanted to go this route, you would also need hubs and drum assemblies, and potentially brakes and wheels. For that I recommend using the 6 on 5-1/2 Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-201-9UC3-EZ for the hub/drum assembly. For brake assemblies part # AKEBRK-6, and for wheels you'd need something with a 6 lug bolt pattern like the # LHAW124.
I've linked some review videos of this Timbren system for you to have a look at and see if it's something that would better serve your needs.
