Hitch For A 2019 Thor F450 Class C RV

Question:

I have a Thor class c rv. Ford f450. I need to increase tongue weight on hitch. Current hitch is Lippert 354528 or Thor part 0311654. Inside rail to inside rail is 37 inches. Need at least 1000 TW. Can you suggest? Thanks

For your 2019 Thor Class C RV I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" Item # 41990-07. This is a weld on hitch so the brackets are adjustable to accommodate different frame spacing. The cross tube is 44" wide so it can be cut to fit between your frame rails. It has a 1600lb gross tongue weight and a 16000lb gross towing capacity with a 7" drop. Depending on how low the hitch needs to sit to clear the back bumper you can also go with the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver - Weld On - Class V - 2" Item # 41990-16. Everything will be the same with the exception that it has a 16" drop for added clearance.
