Question:
This van has existing trailer wiring installed and was attached to a trailer that had a short in one light that burned a 30 amp trailer fuse flush mount, jcase type that is specific to Ford. After replacing the fuse and testing the pertinent relay, I am still not getting trailer light function. Additionally, I replaced the 4-way flat connector to ensure that any incidental corrosion or damage to the old on wasnt causing the problem. Other than pull the entire wiring system out and replace it, Im not sure what to do from here. Thanks!

If you have a vehicle wiring harness like the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness 4-Way Trailer Connector # C56327 you will have a power wire that is run to the battery on your 2016 Ford Transit T150. Make sure to check that the in-line fuse which should be located by the battery is not blown and feeding power to your 4-way connector. I recommend testing the 4-Way connector with a Circuit Tester like the Draw-Tite Circuit Tester # PTW2993.
If the power wire and fuse are ok, check for power in the wires coming into the powered converter box and for power in the wires coming out of the powered converter box. If you have power coming in but not coming out your powered converter box is damaged and will need to replace with a new harness.
I attached an article that has some trailer wiring info for you to take a look at.
