Will the Draw-Tite Hitch for a 2013 Honda Fit Cause Bike Rack to Scrape Ground
Updated 10/13/2020 | Published 10/09/2020 >
Question:
While driving over common obstacles like speed bumps, drive ways, etc. will I have any issues with clearance on this hitch or in general? Im assuming its high enough to not have to worry about scraping too much. I plan on adding a kuat sherpa bike rack to this.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11064 is a great option for a 2013 Honda Fit. It does sit low to the ground but that is to be expected since the vehicle itself sits low to the ground. That said, you won't have any issues with any hitch mounted accessory for the most part during normal daily drives even when driving over speed bumps or pot holes. The only time there would be an issue is with steep driveways which can be an issue even on vehicles which don't sit close to the ground so it's something you'd just have to work around.
