Im worried my bike may be too high on top of my Honda element with the front wheel on. Is there a fork mount bracket/option for this rack?

Swagman does make a roof mounted bike rack that is a fork mounted bike rack. Check out the Swagman Fork Down # S64710. This rack will install onto most OEM bars and Thule square bars. I attached a review video for this bike rack for you to check out also.
If you do not have factory cross bars on your vehicle email me back with the year of your Honda Element and I will recommend you a roof rack that is compatible with this bike rack.
