Question:
This is my third time asking about the BandW Rubber Cover for Empty Turnoverball Socket Item # BWGNXA1715 I keep getting answers for the the plug that fits on the stored ball, but i am asking about the plug for the empty sockettwo different parts. Perhaps I am misunderstanding. If I remove the ball and use the plug mentioned above, does it leave the pin open to corrosion from the bottom of the hole.

There are two different plugs for the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, the part # BWGNXA1710 which attaches to the hitch ball assembly and covers the opening in the bed while the hitch ball is in the stowed position and the part # BWGNXA1715 which covers the opening in the bed with the hitch ball assembly removed. These are the only two plugs that B&W offers for the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch.
