2020 Subaru Crosstrek Hitch Removal

Question:
Hello, I am wondering what the removal process would look like for the C13382 on a Subaru Crosstrek. With the square hole spacers and carriage bolts, how would you feed them back out from the vehicle frame? Thanks!

Taking the spacer and the carriage bolt out will take some finesse. It will be the exact same way you installed the hitch # C13382, just in reverse. Having a magnet tool may help as well. Pretty much what you will have to do is get the spacer and the carriage bolt out in two separate pieces. If need be, you could make the hole a little bit wider to help get the spacer out.
I've included a video to show you how it installed so you can get an idea of the process you have to do in reverse.
