What are the Mounting Measurements for a Thule T2 Molded Wheel Tray # 853-5958

Question:

I am building a rack for my RackN Roll Trailer for Recumbent Trikes, and have ordered 6 of these wheel trays, I was wondering if you have the measurements of the width of the tray, the length of the base that sits on the board, and the hole spacing and size so I can drill the holes to set the trays when they get here.

Expert Reply:

I went out to the warehouse and pulled Replacement Front Wheel Cradle # 853-5958 and took some measurements for you. The base that mounts to the platform measures 3 inches wide by 9-1/4 inches long.

The center to center measurement between the mounting holes is 6-5/16 inches and the diameter of the holes is 5/16 inches.

The length that the mounting tubes stick down from the base is 1-3/16 inches. I have included a picture showing the dimensions for you.
