Question:
I have the stealth hitch with 7 way connector hooked up to my 2018 Audi Q5. When the 7 way connector was hooked up, there were no wire colors for reverse light or for factory brake controller, so I left those two wires out. Because the 7 way is there with it’s own power already, would I need to wire anything to make this unit work? Or can I just plug it right in to the 7way and go??

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180 will work well as long as you have the 12V power and the brake light pins working when utilizing your Stealth Hitch towing package # 391AUDQ518T. There is not a need to have the reverse light circuit or the factory brake controller output wire connected for the Curt Echo Brake Controller to work perfectly.
