Im looking for the lowest height automatic slider hitch that fils the above vehicle with the factory mounting pucks. Currently the slider I have is 18inch and it will be too tall for the new truck if I use a puck adaptor or so I am told. Im looking to upgrade to a 2020 truck and I would like to use the factory puck mounts if possible. Realistically I need to be near 16inch to the top of the hitch. What options do I have?

The lowest height automatic sliding fifth wheel hitch setup that fits your 2020 Ram 3500 short bed with the OEM fifth wheel rail kit is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide part # DM8550034 with the rail kit adapter part # DM6099 as this setup is height adjustable from 15-1/4 to 18 inches plus height of rails 1-3/8 inch.
