Lippert PSX1 RV Stabilizer Motors Not Working When Installed on RV
Updated 08/27/2020 | Published 08/25/2020 >
Question:
Both electric lippert ps1x stabilizers on our 2018 Coleman 2835BH went out at the same time. Ive tested for voltage through the switches and all the way to the motors. The continuity and voltage are there. It would be quite the coincidence for both motors to quit at the same time. So I pulled one motor off and hooked straight up to a 12V battery and it operated fine. I cant find a wiring diagram of the circuit or for the trailer anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks for your time.

I spoke with the folks at Lippert who tell me that your issue sounds like a ground problem. The fact that you can get the motors to operate independently of the coach by directly attaching them to a battery would tend to confirm a poor ground connection. I've provided a wiring diagram for the Lippert PSX1 stabilizer.
