Can I Convert Rain Gutter TracRac to Work on Fixed Mounting Points of 2016 Ford Transit T350

Question:

I had a 2003 E150 van with a three bar TracRac mounted on the gutters. Can I convert these to use on a 2016 Ford Transit with fixed attachments by buying new feet?

Yes. You could use your old Thule TracRac TracVan Van Ladder Rack - 3 Bar - 750 lbs # TH29056XT bars and convert them over for use on your 2016 Ford Transit T350. You would need to use the Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4 # TH460R and the Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3138 # THKIT3138, which would allow you to use your old bars.

Because the cost isn't that much different purchasing everything separately, you may want to just order the entire kit with the Thule TracRac TracVan ES Van Ladder Rack - 2 Bar - 500 lbs # TH29610XT. This would give you some extra bars, load stops, hard,ware, etc. and allow you to have some replacement parts on hand, which is a great idea if you're using this for a work truck that may get damaged from heavy hauling.
