Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller Compatibility With Off-Road Bumps
Updated 08/21/2020 | Published 08/19/2020 >
Question:
Does this controller work alright if traveling a lot over fairly rough roads? Seems like a longer connection would be more prone to disconnecting than just the trailer plug. Over thinking this and more practical to go with a wired controller or just get the easiest install?

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 2 Axles - Proportional # C51180 shouldn't have any issue with off-road bumps. The brake controller has a lip that the spring loaded latch of your trailer connector attached to in order to hold it in place and the controller has that same spring loaded latch to keep the trailer connector in place. I've attached a photo to assist.
