Question:

I noticed in the description of the rack that it requires class II or II hitch receiver, while this Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit 1-1/4inch is class I.

Correct! The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11416 is a class I hitch receiver and will not work with the Malone RunWay 3 # MPG2130. If you have a Class I Hitch, I recommend getting the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. It can carry one more bike than the RunWay 3 but can be used with a Class I hitch, but I recommend never putting more than two bikes on the rack because class I hitches are not rated for more than 2 bikes.

If you are deciding on a hitch for your 2019 Honda HR-V, Class I are your only options and I would get the Curt Hitch # C11416 because it's easy to install and also I have an install video for you to watch so you can do it at home. Super simple!
