Question:
Hi I am looking to outfit my flat bed surtrack trailer with some type of e track to hold down my Yamaha Kodiak 700 atv and another identical model. is your Brophy 2-Slot Horizontal E-Track - Zinc Plated Steel able to work as tire lash downs for these ? They weigh 680 lbs each.

Expert Reply:
Absolutely, the Brophy 2-Slot Horizontal E-Track can be used as an anchor point to hold down the tires on your ATVs. They have a safe working load limit of 1,000lbs, so that would be more than enough for your ATVs. You'll need straps to secure everything down, I linked our selection of E-track straps for you to check out.
A more complete option is the Erickson ATV E-Track Tie-Down Kit w/ Ratchet Straps and Wheel Chocks # EM09160. This comes with 4 Wheel chocks and 2 ratchet tie-down straps and is perfect for ATVs, lawnmowers and other wheeled equipment. The wheel chocks get bolted down to your trailer, and then your simply drive your ATV over them so that the rear tires are wedged between them, then run the straps over and clip the ends into the slot on the chock. It's designed to hold 2 tires at the back, so for both of your Kodiaks you'll need 2 kits.
I attached a short review video for you to check out, as well a picture a customer sent in with his trailer and ATVs loaded up.
