How To Install the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch On a 2019 Ford F-350

Question:

Hello, My questions is about the installation of this product. I have a 2019 F350 and I am wanting to use this hitch. I bought my vehicle used and when looking at the puck system in more detail I realized that one of the four pucks is missing. I have not used a puck system for anything before and when looking into this closer I saw the bracket looks too short unless I am just not understanding how the system works. My question is without a new bracket is there any other way to install the hitch? Is the pin that fits into the puck adjustable? I am attaching pictures for your review. Thanks,

The Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Hitch part # DM8550038 is an excellent option for a 2019 Ford F-350 with factory prep package (which you have). It has a set of four locking attachments on the side plates which will line up with the pucks in the bed. The handles are then turned locking the hitch in place.

In regards to the photos you sent, everything looks in order. You aren't missing a puck but rather the plug. The other inserts you see are the plugs which get removed when the hitch is set in place. In other words, the first photo is with the plug removed and is ready to go where the second photo is with the pug installed that needs to be removed to install the hitch.
