Question:
Me demco makes a loud violent clunk on take off and stops how can this be corrected?

The capture plates may not be adjusted properly ensure they are even on each side and all parts lubricated. If you have an older hitch that may be worn this should be addressed. I suggest you check all bolts on the pin box as well.
