Question:
I need a brake controller for a 3500lb travel trailer. I have a 2017 KIA Sorento EX V6. My Sorento has a factory installed tow package, but I need a 7-point trailer connector and bracket to mount the connector on my Curt hidden hitch. The Curt Echo looks perfect for a brake controller. I just want to confirm that I dont need to run a power wire to the battery. What are the part numbers I need to order the necessary equipment.

Since 2017 Kia Sorento has the factory tow package all you need to install an active 7-way so that you can install the Curt Echo Mobile part # C51180 is the 7-way kit part # TK24FR and you'db be set. This comes with everything needed to have a completely active 7-way for the install of the Echo. A power wire would not be ran to the battery.
