Question:
Would like to utilize the Furrion as a security camera in the RV while away from the campsite or at night while sleeping as well as to save events for insurance purposes. Does this model or any others offer this feature?

I may have a solution for you, but when it comes to a system that records and stores video, yet also acts as an observation system, we do not have one available that fits that bill.
With that said, the Furrion # FOS05TASF can be used as an observation system and will accept up to 4 camera feeds by adding a few of the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera w/ Night Vision - Rear Mount - Black - Qty 1 # FCN48TASF. You could also go with the # FCE48TASL-05, which comes with a rear camera and 2 cameras mounted on side marker lights. You could then add the # FCN48TASF as a 4th camera to provide you observation coverage of any area you don't have a good view of. This is a great choice for an observation system but it does not provide you with the ability to save the video feed as a recording.
