Question:
My trailer lights works great connected to my SUV but when I hook them up to a 1987 Winnebago RV, the turn signals and running/tail lights work great separately but not when both are on at the same time. When on at the same time, the right or left turn signal causes all lights to dimly pulse the actual turn/stop lights as well as the running/tail/marker lights. I thoroughly checked for ground issues on the trailer and fixed a couple - but now I’m thinking the RV isn’t adequately powering the load or also has grounding issues? Dim pulsing lights when running/tail lights AND turn signal on concurrently

I agree with your assessment. It sounds like there isn't a strong enough signal coming from your Winnebago. This could be a power issue or a ground issue. I recommend checking your ground connections to make sure they are bare metal to metal and free of any corrosion or debris. If that doesn't solve your issue, you may need to use a powered tail light harness like the Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4 Pole Trailer Connector # C59496.

Thanks for the help! It ended up being a low battery on the RV. I charged it and everything works great now. The other option you mentioned may be handy in the future if needed!
