Question:
I saw the answer to this question for this car but the Falcon Tow Bar is only rated at 6000 LBS. The Gross weight of the Avalanche is 8000LBS. Is the Falcon tow bar still good enough? BTW if the Falcon is still good can you put the exact part number since the last question was just missing that part. Parts needed to Flat Tow 2004 Chevy Avalanche Z-71 - Curb weight 5678LBS Thanks

If your 2004 Chevy Avalanche is not carrying cargo, then the curb weight is the weight you go by. If the curb weight is the 5678 lbs you stated, then the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 6,000 lbs # RM-520 will work fine. If however you were to have 322 lbs in your truck as accessories or cargo, then I recommend using a higher rated tow bar like the Roadmaster Sterling All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 8K # RM-576 which comes with the safety cables and the wiring connections. With this tow bar then to complete your setup, I recommend the following:
-RoadMaster Nighthawk All Terrain and Sterling All Terrain Towing Combo Kit # RM-9284-2 for your wiring.
-Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # 199-5
-Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251
-The # RM-88400 relay is also required to prevent the towed vehicle's brake signal from overriding the turn signal from the RV when applying the brakes during a turn.
Finally you need to use a high-low adapter to be safe. I've attached a link to your options as well as a link to the help article to ensure you get the right size adapter for your Avalanche and Motorhome.
