Question:
Spare Tire Carrier is advertised for RV use but expert answer does not recommend it, says it is designed for trailers. If it is not strong enough for RV is there a beefier version available without the storage? Just need to store the deep dish 19.5 tire under a Class A motor home.

The Lippert # LC159041 will work with a towed RV like a bumper pull camper or fifth wheel, but due to the size and weight of the wheels/tires on a motorhome, it would not be a good choice.
For a heavy 19-1/2 inch wheel like what's on your Class A, I'd recommend the Roadmaster # RM-195225 which features a pass through receiver. The carrier pivots to the ground, which means you which makes loading and unloading the spare much easier. The carrier accommodates 16-24-1/2 wheels and is compatible with all wheel bot patterns. The carrier can handle up to 10K when flat towing and has a 400 lb tongue weight capacity.
I've linked to a product demonstration video featuring the Roadmaster # RM-195225 spare tire carrier.
