Hi i own a 2018 hyundai kona and would like to order the THULE HUllavator do i need to change my existing roof rack and cross bars?

If the current crossbars on your 2018 Hyundai Kona can be adjusted so that they stick out past the legs of the roof rack 4" - 8" and they are round, square, aero or elliptical with top channels then you won't have to change out a thing to use the Thule Hullavator Pro # TH898 on your 2018 Hyundai Kona.

In the case that your crossbars aren't long enough I recommend installing the Yakima JetStream roof rack system because you can upgrade the bars so that they are long enough for your application. For this roof rack you need the following:

60" JetStream Crossbars - Black # Y00426
RidgeLine Towers - # Y00145
RidgeClip Fit Kit # Y06022

You might be able to get away with the 50" JetStream Bars - Black # Y00425 , but you would need to compare this with the width of your flush rails on your roof.
