Echo Brake Controller With Lost Brake Code
Updated 07/23/2020 | Published 07/21/2020 >
Question:
I purchased a Coachman Clipper trailer with an Echo Brake Controller. I used the trailer on two separate camping trips and the brakes worked great. Since the second camp out my Apple iphone just suddenly died. i received a new phone and I replaced the card as instructed but unfortunately all my custom apps disappeared. I loaded the Echo app on my phone but i was unable to activate the brakes because I can not find my Echo brake code. What can I do?

Sorry to hear that, and what you will have to do is set up your Curt Echo Brake Controller # C51180 like it was new.
You should be able to scan for the Echo again when setting up, and you will need to enter the 6-digit code, which is found under the cap of the brake controller unit itself; or on a quick reference card if you still have it.
